New Prohormone - 1 AD! Sat 24/02/2001
Following our recent update mentioning a possible new prohormone from Patrick Arnold, he has indeed unleashed a new product, and has released full details of 1AD to web magazine, Muscle Monthly. 1AD, whose full name is 5alpha-androst-1-en-3,17-dione, converts within the body to an isomer named "1-Testosterone". 1 testosterone is not only reported to be 7 times more anabolic than testosterone, but does not aromatize to estrogens. Biohazard Announcement Sat 24/02/2001
Biohazard have updated with the following announcement relating to the recent death of their Managing Director, Paul Borreson.
"Paul Borresen died due to an overdose of pain killers which were being used to control the back pain Paul had nearly all of the time. Paul had been complaining more than usual after his time spent sleeping on an airport floor and then a long cramped flight home a week before his death."
New Products at Maximuscle Thurs 22/02/2001
Maximuscle have updated their website with a number of new product announcements. Like EAS' recent Methoxy Factor HP and LA Muscle's Nemesis, Maximuscle have released a Methoxy-Isoflavone supplement named Methoxy Max. Secondly, Maximuscle have announced GH Kick which is a combination of GABA with 3 amino acids which is said to stimulate growth hormone release. Next we have HMB 1000, which replaces HMB 500 Plus with larger dosage per capsule, and also Protrient. Improved products also mentioned inthe Maximuscle update include Thermobol, Thermovate, Maxidetox and Testokick.
Additionally, we heard from Pete of Gymratz that Maximuscle will shortly be releasing Createmax (Creatine in Capsules), CLA 500 (a replacement for PS/CLA) and Stress Buster (a replacement for 7-Keto). LA Muscle Supplement News Thurs 22/02/2001
LA Muscle, who are sponsoring this month's GABA copetition, announced that they will be releasing a new supplement in March 2001. They claim that it will be the world strongest legal product, but have not yet released any details. We'll bring you more news on this as and when it is available. Also in the newsletter, LA Muscle gave reference to study conducted in the Netherlands (Am. J. Clin. AST on Creatine Cancer Claims Thurs 22/02/2001
Paul Cribb, the director of research at AST Sports Science (America) has published an article regarding the recent French Report suggesting that Creatine increases the risk of cancer. Patrick Arnold, "the father of modern day prohormones", posted a very interesting message on Usenet relating to a new prohomone. The new product is a culmination of 18 months work and according to Patrick, it is "pretty amazing shit"! IOC Nandrolone Doubt Tues 06/02/2001
The Independent recently posted an article entitled "Research casts doubt on nandrolone testing" which details new research being done by Professor Wilhelm Schaencer, head of the International Olympic Committee's testing laboratory.
